Community-Based Ocean Observations to Power the Blue Economy

Community-based ocean instrumentation initiatives have proven to be a valuable tool for supporting the local blue economy. These programs use real-time ocean observation data to provide live, accurate information about wave and weather conditions, fish and marine mammal activity, and energy from wave energy converters.
